US Airways employees based at the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Airport recently had an opportunity be part of the US Airways Do Crew, a dedicated corp of employee and retiree volunteers that participate in community-based projects. Twenty employees volunteered to help Fallen Officers Remembered raise funds for bullet-proof vests at its annual ‘Fly In/Pork BBQ’ at Valley Aviation in Wyoming. The event raises money to purchase bullet-proof vests for officers. An additional donation was made due to the efforts of the US Airways Do Crew.
