The Kiwanis Club of Swoyersville recently held its bi-monthly meeting at the American Legion on Shoemaker Street in Swoyersville. Guest speakers were representatives from Lowe’s Home Centers. They discussed the necessary preparations to make during natural weather events, such as snowstorms and floods. Member Terry Dyanick also spoke of her recent experience during an eight-day blackout in Michigan.
