Santo P. (Sonny) Caravello of Pittston passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township. His wife, Helen Hornick Caravello, passed away in 2001.
Born on January, 26, 1920, in New York City, N.Y., he was a son of late Leonardina Zolli Caravello and Salvatore Caravello.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lenora Lewis, and brother Vincent.
Surviving is his granddaughter, Jennifer Gethins; grandsons, Cory Lewis and Curt Lewis; sister, Antoinette Baudille; son-in-law, Michael Lewis; two great-grandchildren and a brother, Frank.
Funeral services will be from the Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township. The viewing will be Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Thursday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9 a.m. blessing service at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel, Avoca. Interment will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Avoca.
