ROSE MARIE (ROSINA) DWYER, R.N., 91, a resident of the Riverside Rehabilitation Center in Taylor, and formerly of West Scranton, died Friday, October 29, 2010. Born in Scranton, on April 29, 1919, a daughter of the late John and Lucy Brincivalli Schittone, she earned her nursing degree in 1946 from Wilson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Johnson City, N.Y. She was a lifetime member of St. Patrick’s Church, West Scranton. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a registered nurse for Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton. She is survived by her son, John Philip Dwyer III, Mesa, Ariz. Also preceding her in death was son Patrick Dwyer; brother Paul Schittone; and sister Frances Harzowski.

Private arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
