The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins recently presented Allied Services with a donation of more than $8,000 to support pediatric and autism programs at the non-profit health system. Most autism services are not fully covered by insurance and Allied Services provides critical rehab services for pediatric patients without regard to their parents’ ability to pay. The funds were raised through the two organizations’ partnership and from fans’ support of special events like the 2014 Pens and Pins Charity Bowling Tournament and Penguins Mystery Puck sales.
