SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE: Students from participating Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 9 schools will be performing in the Music in our Schools Month concert series on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 2-4, at the Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes-Barre, and the Viewmont Mall, Scranton.

Below are the performance venues, times and groups.

Wyoming Valley Mall:

Monday, March 2: 5:30 p.m. Lake-Lehman Senior High Chorus (Becky Burdett, director); 6:15 p.m. Wyoming Valley West Middle School Jazz Ensemble (Megan Wilski, director); 7 p.m. Pittston Area Jazz Band (Adam Burdett, director).

Tuesday, March 3: 4:45 p.m. Dallas String Ensemble (Hollie Major, director); 5:30 p.m. Dallas Middle School Select Chorus (Hollie Major, director).

Viewmont Mall:

Monday, March 2: 4:30 p.m. Lackawanna Trail, Chrysalis (Jodi Rinehimer, director); 5:30 p.m. Wallenpaupack South Elementary Choir (Jean Shields, director); 6 p.m. Mid Valley Women’s Choir (Linda Orsek, director); 6:30 p.m. Mid Valley Steel Drums (Chuck Wilson, director); 7 p.m. Mid Valley Steel Drums, (Chuch Wilson, director).
