The students at St. Jude School collected $671.75 for the Missionary Childhood Association through their Helping Hearts project. Students purchased red tissue paper squares to glue on their class heart. The project was held as part of the Lenten tradition of alms giving, which includes works of charity, such as donating food, money or other goods to people in need. With some of the completed hearts, from left, first row, are Raymond Mazur, Abigail Krupa and Lauren Hayden. Second row: Michael Tomczyk, Emily Carone, Matthew Kerstetter and Joseph Kopko. Third row: Lauren Poharski, Austin Kane, and Aubrey Ayre.
