In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, employees from First National Community Bank (FNCB), presented a donation of $897 to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The funds were raised from a bank-wide dress-down day held in April. Jeans for a Cause encourages employees to make a small donation in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans to work one Friday every month. FNCB provides a corporate match of all donations collected. At the check presentation, from left: Mary Ann LaPorta, executive director, Children’s Advocacy Center; Michael Cummings, marketing officer, FNCB; Susan Hennemuth, development coordinator, Children’s Advocacy Center; and Jennifer Aglialoro, child forensic interviewer, Children’s Advocacy Center.
