Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center recently celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Week by honoring the more than 100 community-spirited people who help at the center. The volunteers were recently acknowledged at a luncheon held at Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estate to thank them for sharing more than 12,000 hours with the residents this past year. Certificates of Appreciation and gifts were presented to each volunteer. Special awards were given to volunteers who have generously given five, 10, 15 and 20 years of service.
