The Wyoming Area Concert Band, under the direction of Shea Riley, recently received the National Band Association’s Citation of Excellence Award. The group was nominated by Dr. Fred David Romines, department co-chair and director of bands of Marywood University’s Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. In celebration of their award, the group performed a concert in conjunction with the Marywood University Senior Wind Band Celebration and were presented with their award by the National Band Association President Dr. Rick Good, Auburn University Director of Bands.
