News for Veterans

DALLAS: The NEPA Coast Guard Veterans Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Dallas American Legion Post on the Dallas Highway. Any Coast Guard veteran interested in more information is welcome to attend the meeting or contact Neil Morrison at 288-6817.

GLEN LYON: The Lt. Chester F. Strzalka Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8353 will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the American Legion Post 539, 62 Newport Street. Commander John Pickle will preside. The selection of a delegate to the national convention will take place.

NANTICOKE: American Legion District 12 will meet at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Nanticoke American Legion. All posts are urged to send a representative. Commander John Emil will preside.

YATESVILLE: The Yatesville Auxiliary will hold its annual Easter party for children 12 years of age and younger at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Yatesville Borough Building. Prizes and refreshments will be served. To make reservations call 654-7585 or 655-8088.
