EXETER: Exeter Hose Company 1 is holding an Easter egg hunt from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday at the fire house, 1405 Susquehanna Avenue. The event is for children from infants to 11 years old. Reservations are due by today and can be made by calling Jenn at 209-6373 or Wendy at 507-0398.

HUGHESTOWN: The Hughestown Police Department and Lions Club will hold an Easter egg hunt for children of the community at 1 p.m. on March 30 at the pavilion in Hughestown. All children will receive candy and other prizes. Two bicycles will also be raffled.

KINGSTON TWP.: The Kingston Township Recreation Commission is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturday rain or shine, at the Center Street Park, across from the Kingston Township Municipal Building, 180 E. Center St., Shavertown. Children will be divided into three age groups, 0-5, 6-8 and 9-12. The hunt is sponsored by the Kingston Township Board of Supervisors for resident children of Kingston Township. Proof of residency is required for admission. LUZERNE: Luzerne Borough residents and family are invited to attend the 2013 Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Lower Charles Street Park. Rain date is 1 p.m. March 30. The event is for children 10 years of age and younger. Pre-registration is required by calling the borough building at 287-7633 ext. 4 or visiting the borough building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. Volunteers and donations are appreciated. PLAINS TWP.: The Plains Lions Club is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on March 30 at the Plains Lions Pavilion, Plains Township Municipal Park, Clark Lane. Rain or shine. Age groups are 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Any child presenting a canned good item will receive a bonus ticket for a special drawing. All canned goods will be donated to the local Plains food banks.

SUGAR NOTCH/WARRIOR RUN: The Twin Boro Lions Club of Sugar Notch and Warrior Run are holding the annual Easter party at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Warrior Run Fire Hall. The event is for children 0 to 10 years of age who reside in the Twin Boros. Pre-registration is necessary and can be made at Derff’s Pizza, Top Notch Pizza, with PSR instructors from the Catholic churches of Sugar Notch or any Twin Boro Lions Club member. Final registration is Wednesday.

WRIGHT TWP.: The Wright Township and Fairview Township Recreation Boards are sponsoring the annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturdayin Wright Township’s municipal park. The Easter Bunny will be available for photographs. The Kiwanis Club is providing refreshments.

YATESVILLE: The Yatesville Auxiliary will hold its annual Easter party for children 12 years of age and younger at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Yatesville Borough Building. Prizes and refreshments will be served. To make reservations call 654-7585 or 655-8088.
