St. Jude students win awards in Knights of Columbus poster contest

The Mountain Top Knights of Columbus Council 6440 recently sponsored its annual Substance Abuse Awareness poster contest for students ages 8 to 14. Five first-place certificates were awarded to St. Jude School students and Lizzie Kolojejchick and Sean Wills earned a grand prize of a $25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble. The posters of the grand prize winners will be submitted to the regional competition. Participants, from left, first row, are Vincent DeMarco, Ryan Williams, Abby Lapinski, Gabby Frask and Daryl Boich.
