For the third consecutive year, Keystone College was recognized as a “College of Distinction” by a national company which publishes information about select institutions of higher learning.
Collegesofdistinction.com makes important information available to high school students and their parents, as well as high school guidance counselors and teachers. The web site is produced by Student Horizons, Inc., a digital services company which provides information about higher education.
Keystone is one of 17 colleges in Pa. selected as a 2012-2013 College of Distinction. Selection for the site is based upon four key criteria: engaged students, outstanding teaching, vibrant campus communities, and successful outcomes. Colleges must meet stringent standards in each of those four key areas to be included on the site.
Visitors to collegesofdistinction.com can select a college or university and learn more about its specific qualities and characteristics. A link to each school’s web site and contact information is included for each listing. The 2012-13 Colleges of Distinction are also available in e-book for tablets, e-Readers, and smart phone formats.
Officials from Colleges of Distinction said, “All of our schools share excellent reputations among high school guidance counselors, education professionals, employers and graduate schools. Their classrooms are among the most exciting in the country and their programs are some of the most innovative.”
In addition to Keystone, Colleges of Distinction feature such diverse schools as the University of San Diego, Texas Christian University, Manhattan College and Fordham University.
