Abington Heights graduate Becky Burke had her college career come to an end Monday night when host Maryland eliminated Louisville, 72-68, in the second round of the NCAA Division I women’s basketball tournament.

Burke played 34 minutes and scored five points. She made all three free throws and went 1-for-6 from the floor, including 0-for-5 on 3-pointers.

The senior guard had three rebounds and a steal.

Louisville finished 23-10.

Burke played in all 33 games and made a team-high 32 starts. She averaged 11.5 points in 32.7 minutes per game and was the team’s top 3-point and foul shooter.

Burke shot 37.9 percent on 3-pointers (81-for-214) and 84.5 percent on foul shots (60-for-71). She also had 104 rebounds, 40 assists and 30 steals.
