Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association elects officers

County area lawyers recently elected officers and a governing council for the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the bar association for Luzerne County. Elected for a second term as president was attorney Joseph F. Saporito Jr., Pittston, and for a second term as vice president was attorney Elaine Cook, Freeland. Attorney Joseph P.J. Burke III, the executive director of the association, was elected to a 14th term as treasurer and secretary. Attorneys elected to the governing council include attorney Larry S. Keiser, attorney Megan Michael, attorney Catherine R. O’Donnell, attorney James P. Valentine and attorney Eric W. Wassel. From left, are Burke, Saporito, Keiser, Cook and Valentine.
