KINGSTON: The Hoyt Library is taking reservations for the Welcome to Mother’s Day Program, a tribute to motherhood for mother and child, to be held from 6-7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Cost is $5 per person. Mothers and children will enjoy an evening of learning, sharing and creative fun.

The first guest presenter will be Jill Evans Kryston, director of Defining Manners, a school of contemporary protocol. She will demonstrate how to feel confident, knowledgeable and at ease in social situations. Attendees will also learn dining skills in order to be comfortable in any dining situation.

The second guest presenter will be Sweet Dottie’s Custom Confections. Sweet Dottie will demonstrate cupcake decorating. Each attendee will be able to decorate a cupcake at the program. Cupcakes, icing and decorations will be provided.

Reservations are required and seating is limited. Payment is due at time of reservation. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to the mothers.

LARKSVILLE: Larksville High School Classes of1952 and 1953 are holding a joint meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Larksville Fire Hall on State Street. Plans for another class reunion will be discussed. For more information call Nancy at 287-6237 or Margaret at 288-9350.
