The Polish Women’s Alliance of America, Council 40, Wilkes-Barre, held its annual May crowning and festival on Thursday, May 15, at King’s College Chapel. As part of the celebration, Lindsey Lacomis was crowned Miss Polish Women’s Alliance of America. Joanne Jones led the group in a prayer service as Lacomis crowned the statue of the Blessed Mother. A reception was held for members of the Polish Women’s Alliance following the ceremony. Lacomis is the daughter of James and Christine Lacomis, Lake Aleeda. She will be entering her junior year at Wyoming Seminary in Kingston.
