Students at Holy Redeemer High School were recognized for their accomplishments in the 2015 National French Contest administered by the American Association of Teachers of French. Brianna Scorey earned a silver medal at the national level in French 4. She also received third place from the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the association and was invited to the chapter dinner honoring local winners. Isabelle Updike and Alexis Davison received a bronze certificate at the national level and were fourth and fifth place, respectively, at the chapter level. Gabriella Soroka scored in the top 10 at the chapter level in French 4. Arielle Djokoto and Maria Khourdary earned honorable mention certificates in French 4 and Angela Malinovitch, Thomas Williams and Meghan McGraw earned honorable mention in French 3. Alia Mazzatosta and Anthony Khoudary earned honorable mention in French 2. Rylee Gavlick, Erica Shay, Scott Williams, Isabel Panganiban, Marc Kolendowicz, Paige Petlock, Haily Yakimovicz and Ireland Davies earned certificates in French 1.
