A team from MMI Preparatory School won the Luzerne County Envirothon competition for the fourth consecutive year. The team took first place overall during the 34th annual Luzerne County Envirothon on May 1 at the PPL Susquehanna Riverlands, Berwick. The team also earned first place in the individual categories of soils, forestry, aquatics and wildlife and tied the second-place team in this year’s topic, grazing lands and pasture management.
