EMT students complete coursework

Students in the Luzerne County Community College Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Program recently completed their coursework. The course requires participation in a 230-hour lecture and lab class that teaches basic life support skills. Upon completion, the students are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification. This year’s class achieved a 100% pass rate for the certification.
