EDWARDSVILLE: The Edwardsville Senior Center, 57 Russell St., is hosting a mini-health fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 19.


Vouchers for the Farmer’s Market will be given out from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 20. The birthday of the month celebration will be held on June 21.


An Italian Day celebration will be held on June 26 and a blood pressure screening by Golden Living Center will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.


A staff member from Rep. Gerald Mullery’s office will visit from 10 a.m. to noon on June 27.


EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. on June 18 in St. Anthony’s Center. Hosts and hostesses are Bernadine Bednar, Theresa Bekanich, Marie Mantione, Mary Ann Markowski, Cheryl Pipher and Frances Poluske.


A trip to Mt. Airy Casino is scheduled for Wednesday. Pick ups will be in Exeter and Pittston. Membership is not required. For details call Johanna at 655-2720.


FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center is offering free blood pressure screening by Susan Anderson from Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. There will also be a Father’s Day lunch and celebration.


A glaucoma and vision screening by Denise Culver from the Blind Association will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday.


There will be a lunch and learn event on summer heat and exercise programs at 12:15 p.m. on June 19. Stephen Stylinski, physical therapist, and Michelle Taylor from Compassionate Home Care will conduct the program.


Vouchers for the Farmer’s Market will be distributed from 9-11 a.m. on June 21.


There will be an Italian Day special lunch on June 26 after a musical presentation by the Vocal Accord barbershop quartet.


JENKINS TOWNSHIP: The Jenkins Township Senior Citizens group will meet at 6:30 tonight at the Jenkins Township Hose Company. President Jean Mudlock will preside. Refreshments will be served after the meeting and bingo will also be played. Hostesses are Carol Matusavage and Ruth Musto.


MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet today at the St. Jude’s Church in the Father Nolan Hall Day Room. Doors will open at 1 p.m. Bakers are Stanley Fischer, Joe Furcon and John Lokken.


An auction will be at the June 25 meeting.


Trips are being planned for Aug. 15, American Music Theatre, Lancaster; Sept. 11, Ehrhardt’s, Hawley; Oct. 7, Ace In The Hole, Wayne, N.J.; October Festival; Nov. 8, Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, the Christmas show. For more information call Otto at 407-0056.


PLAINS TWP.: The Tequila Rose Chapter of the Red Hat Society will meet at 1 p.m. today at Momma ‘B’ Restaurant on Jumper Road, Plains Township.


WILKES-BARRE: The Charles T. Adams Active Adult Center, 5 E. Market St., is accepting registrations for “Living a Healthy Life,” a six-week, self-management program designed by Stanford University to help improve health and quality of life for those living with chronic conditions. The workshops will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 24 and July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.


The work shop is being offered at no charge and includes all course materials, books, CD’s and lunch. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by June 21.
