The Forty Fort branch of the Citizens Bank is hosting an exhibition of artworks by Dallas artist Maria Ansilio through the end of September.

Ansilio’s favorite subject is animals and one of the pieces on display is an exquisite colored pencil of a cat as well as several avian portraits. Her favorite medium is watercolor and a depiction of a Maine harbor at night is the centerpiece of the exhibit.

Ansilio works in pastel, graphite, ink, and acrylic as well as colored pencil and watercolor.

She is a 10th grade student at Dallas High School and has studied art with Sue Hand since age 5. She is a consistent exhibitor in the annual Suzanne Rossetti Memorial Juried Art Exhibit, Emerging Artists Invitational exhibit at King’s College and various other competitions. She is the daughter of Tim and Karen Ansilio.

The exhibit continues through Sept. 26 in the lobby of the Citizens Bank on the corner of Welles Street and Wyoming Avenue, Forty Fort.
