KINGSTON: Tiffany Court at Kingston, 700 Northampton St., is hosting a community education discussion on coping with dementia in older adults from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the Piano Room. The guest speaker will be Sheila McDermott-Lord, chief executive officer, Haven Behavioral Hospital. LUZERNE: Home Instead Senior Care, 269 Bennett St., is starting a support group for family caregivers from 10-11 a.m. on Sept. 24. The group will be led by Heather Dewees, community service representative from Home Instead Senior Care.


Free on-site care giving will be provided during the support group for those who must bring their older adult relatives.
