How the slices will be served:
   
Here are the areas covered by five of the Hazleton-area ambulance
companiesAs it stands now, Hazleton Area Transfer Service doesn’t have
designated territory. State officials are redrawing the boundaries so the
appropriate and nearest service can be dispatched. The new boundaries will
allow Hazleton Area Transfer Service a piece of the ambulance pie.
    Hazleton Ambulance:
   
Coxeville; New Coxeville; Diamond East; Hazle Brook; Jeansville; Stockton
6, 7 and 8; Route 93 from the Hazleton to Hazle Township line; Route 309 from
the Hazleton line to the Heights beltway.
   
McAdoo Ambulance:
   
Beaver Brook; Hazle Village; Four Seasons Trailer Park; Route 309 from
McAdoo to the Heights beltway.
   
Freeland Ambulance:
   
Drifton; Drifton Estates; Jeddo; Japan Jeddo; Scotch Hill; Eckley; Route
940 from Freeland to the Stockton Crossroads.
   
West Hazleton Ambulance:
   
Green Ridge; Crystal Ridge; New Cranberry; Old Cranberry; Hollars Hill;
Harwood; Harwood Heights; Humbolt; Humbolt Industrial Park; Chapel Hill;
Valmont Industrial Park; Maple Manor; Hazleton Area Career Center and high
school; Hazle Elementary School; Bishop Hafey High School; Hazle Park; Hazle
Township Community Park; Laurel Mall; Route 924 from Broad Street to
Schuylkill County Line; Interstate 81 Exit 40 to Interstate 80.
   
Medical Transport Ambulance Service:
   
Pardeesville; Airport beltway from Route 309 to Laurel Mall; Airport Road;
