FALLS: The Falls Active Adult Center, state Route 92, is hosting Phylis Rennie from Southern Care at 12:15 p.m. on Friday. She will speak about fire safety.
Thanksgiving dinner will be served at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 21. A sing along will take place after dinner with Stewart Atkinson on saxophone, Ron Jackson on guitar and Carlene Howard on piano.
Rhoda Tillman from Community Counseling will present holiday trivia at 12:15 p.m. on Nov.22.
PLYMOUTH: The Plymouth Shawnee Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the First Welsh Baptist Church, Shawnee and Girard avenues. The executive board will meet at 12:30 p.m. with the Rev. Anita J. Ambrose, president, presiding.
Representatives from the Plymouth Neighborhood Watch will be a the meeting. Members are reminded to bring a sandwich. Beverages will be provided. New members are welcome.
WILKES-BARRE: The Charles T. Adams Active Adult Center, 5 East Market St., will have a salad bar at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.
There will be a Foster Grandparents meeting from 8-11:30 a.m. on Friday.
A representative from the American Red Cross Holiday Cards for Heroes Program will be at the center at 11 a.m. on Friday. Shingle shots will also be administered by the Wilkes-Barre Health Department from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.
Medication management will be discussed with a representative from the Medicine Shoppe at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18.
The Thanksgiving Day special lunch and celebration will be held at noon on Nov. 21.
Elvis Day will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22. Elvis impersonator Jimmy T. will perform.
