The Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania is holding an educational program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at John Heinz Medical Center, 150 Mundy St., Wilkes-Barre. The guest speaker will be Dr. Michael Sperling, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, who will discuss ‘After the Diagnosis,’ how doctors determine treatment for seizure disorders and options. Other speakers will be Dr. Paul McCabe, Geisinger; Dr. Rebecca Dalgin, University of Scranton; and Thomas Giordano Jr. Subjects will include living with epilepsy and seizures, Social Security benefits and depression.
