WILKES-BARRE – George Parker, 27, whose last known address is Shonk Street, Plymouth, waived his right to preliminary hearings in Central Court Thursday on separate charges that he stole $100 from a man and threatened a woman.

Parker waived charges of robbery and theft, and terroristic threats and harassment to Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.

Prosecutors withdrew a single count of prohibited offensive weapons against Parker.

Plymouth police said Parkstole the money from a patron inside Bull Run Tavern, Main Street, on March 9. Parker was charged on March 5 with threatening a woman with a knife on Shonk Street.

WILKES-BARRE – Luzerne County Judge Joseph Augello jailed five defendants and issued arrests warrants for 19 others who failed to appear at child support contempt hearings held Thursday.
