WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following incidents:
• Joe Carneski, of Maple Lane, reported two windows were smashed at 11 Maple Lane on Friday.
• Darren Simonson, of Plains Township, reported three men assaulted him and stole $40 from him on South Pennsylvania Avenue on Thursday.
• Selena Hughes, of Custer Street, reported a license plate was stolen from her vehicle when it was parked at rear 89 Carey Ave. on Thursday.
• William Sanguiliano, of West Hollenback Street, reported someone slashed two tires on his vehicle that was parked on Parkin Street on Tuesday.
• Jason D. Noreddin, 23, of Madison Street, was charged Thursday with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after allegedly fighting with his brother at a house at Butler and Madison streets on Oct. 24. Noreddin was released without bail.
Someone used Laura Austin’s Visa debit car to make unauthorized purchases in the area of Carey Avenue and Academy Street on Wednesday.
Several items – including a CD player, Samsung camera, cash and a handgun – were stolen from Andrew Harrison’s 1996 Jeep while it was parked in the area of 778 Kidder St. on Wednesday.
Police said someone made obscene phone calls to female employees at CVS Pharmacy, 351 S. Main St., on Wednesday.
Items were stolen from a 1996 Dodge parked on Kidder Street on Wednesday.
Someone broke into Joshua Cain’s 1997 Plymouth and stole the stereo while the vehicle was parked in the area of 778 Kidder St. on Wednesday.
Police said Clark Riley, 44, of Poplar Street, was charged with public drunkenness in the area of 200 N. Main St. around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
WYOMING – State police at Wyoming reported their November statistics on Friday: offenses reported, 88; offenses cleared, 68; arrests, 73; vehicle crashes, 52; hit-and-run crashes, two; injuries as a result of vehicle crashes, 11; drunken-driving arrests, 10; drunken-driving crashes, two; traffic citations, 473; traffic warnings, 51.
HAZLE TWP. – State police at Hazleton said an someone obtained credit card numbers of a credit card issued to Christ Alive Church, 37th Street, and charged $134.19 worth of goods in Oakland, Calif., and San Leandro, Calif., between Oct. 23 and 24.
