WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:
• A Wilkes-Barre man was arrested on several charges, including aggravated assault, early Sunday morning after police said he threatened his wife with a knife.
According to police, Donnell Buckner, 33, of Lehigh Street, punched his wife, Kewaii Rogers, in the face repeatedly, threw her down a flight of stairs, and held a knife to her throat.
Police said Buckner fled the scene in a Ford Taurus and was stopped by police and arrested on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, terrorist threats and driving under the influence.
Police said Buckner was taken to the Luzerne County jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
Anthony Bridges, 41, of East Duval Street, Philadelphia, was cited Tuesday for disorderly conduct after police say he allegedly urinated in public at Public Square.
Tyest Smith, of South Regent Street, Hanover Township, reported a male suspect known to her repeatedly slapped her at 367 S. Main St. at 5:28 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The incident is under investigation, according to police.
Rose Maxwell, of Wilkes-Barre, reported that John Vistocci, 30, of Vista Drive, Tobyhanna, Monroe County, who is her boyfriend, allegedly struck her with a belt and kicked her at 324 Parkview Circle at 11:44 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Vistocci was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault and harassment, according to police. He is awaiting arraignment before a district judge in Luzerne County.
Douglas Sakoutis, of Nanticoke, reported someone damaged a door at 401 S. River St. at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Brandon Hughes reported his ex-girlfriend, Christy Camron, of 300 Park Avenue, Apt. 612, called his residence at 341 N. Washington St., and spoke with his father at 2:16 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Hughes alleged Camron related if he didn’t shut his mouth she would punch him in the mouth, according to police. A citation was filed against Camron for harassment, police said.
Tamika Dates, of 540 S. Franklin St., reported she had an argument with family members, which allegedly escalated into Melissa Smith, of 111 N. Fulton St., striking Dates in the face and stomach on Thursday, police said.
A citation was filed against Smith for harassment, according to police.
Michael Jordan, 24, of Mark Drive, Hanover Township, reported 51-year-old Thom Greco, of Wilkes-Barre, followed him in public to Penn Plaza at 2:12 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Greco will be cited for harassment, according to police. Police also cited Jordan for disorderly conduct after he allegedly yelled obscenities while at the Plaza.
Audrey Loux reported a male suspect known to her repeatedly called her at her home at 275 Barney St. on Thursday night, according to police. The victim does not wish to pursue criminal charges against him, police said.
Mary Hoover reported someone removed a backpack and cell phone from her 2002 Subaru at 176 S. Grant St. at 6:27 p.m. Saturday, according to police.
• Gay Reichel, of Mayflower Crossings, reported to police that someone stole a Global Positioning System from her vehicle Sunday morning.
• Charles Norton reported to police that someone smashed a window at his residence on Hughes Street Sunday morning.
• Charisma Maggio reported that someone smashed a window on her vehicle while it was parked on South Franklin Street Sunday morning.
• Melissa Strobel, of Kirkendall Avenue, reported to police that someone stole the battery from her vehicle early Sunday morning.
• Nathan Mustapich, of Duryea, reported to police that a female suspect known to him kept him locked in her apartment against his will from May 8 to June 26, 2008. Police said the incident is under investigation.
• Jane Padden reported to police that someone stole a glucose meter, wallet and CDs from her vehicle while parked on Andover Street Saturday afternoon.
• Michael Barberio, of Pine Street, reported to police that he saw two female juveniles damage his gas grill early Sunday morning. Police said both girls will be cited with criminal mischief.
• Bill Murtha reported to police that someone entered his home, and stole items early Sunday morning.
