WILKES-BARRE – John Barney, 45, of Mountain Top, was cited with disorderly conduct after, police allege, he waved a handgun around in the Home Depot at about 3:28 p.m. Sunday.
HANOVER TWP. – Charles Skipalis, 46, of Wilkes-Barre, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after a two-vehicle crash at on the Sans Souci Parkway Saturday night.
Police said Skipalis’ vehicle struck the vehicle of Elizabeth Lepore, of Kingston, while she was stopped at the intersection with Willow Street. No injuries were reported.
WILKES-BARRE – The state police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement reported the following:
• Jason Patrick Porter, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, was arrested on a charge of public drunkenness after he was allegedly seen at Brown and Holland streets “stumbling on the street in a condition which endangered himself and others” at 3:05 a.m. Friday, police said.
• Derrick Harold Jr. and Tyzheke Ajahmal Seward, both 18 and both of Wilkes-Barre, were cited with possession of liquor by minors after they were allegedly observed to be in possession of a bottle of E&J Brandy in the Wyoming Valley Mall parking lot at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.
ASHLEY – The state police Bureau of Liquor Enforcement on Saturday night cited Kristina Marie Drozda, 19, of Ashley, Amber Michelle McCann, 20, of Ashley and Edward Joseph Wassel, 19, of Hanover Township, with possession of alcohol by a minor.
Police allege the three possessed three 12-packs of beer in a vehicle for their consumption, police said.
