WILKES-BARRE – Catilyn Murry Hermanofski, 21, of Hunlock Creek, was arrested by state police at 1:13 a.m. Saturday on an outstanding warrant from Mississippi.
Hermanofski’s warrant accuses her of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute, police said. She was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped on state Route 309 on drunken driving.
Police said Hermanofski is being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility awaiting extradition to Mississippi.
WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:
Faruq McCoy, 33, of Hanover Township reported he was cut on his hand by an unknown suspect on Andover Street around 8 p.m. Friday, police said.
Judy McCarroll reported on Thursday night that someone smashed her vehicle window and removed property on South Washington Street.
Police said John Ruston reported Todd Richards allegedly punched him in the face on Scott Street around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Harassment charges were filed against Richards, according to police.
Kimberly Kern reported an unknown suspect struck her in the face on North Main Street just before 2 a.m. Friday, police said.
A woman reported someone entered her West Ross Street residence and removed an HP Pavilion TX 2000 touch screen laptop computer valued at approximately $1,600 around 6:45 a.m. Friday, police said.
Officers responded to a complaint of an unknown person unconscious in an apartment on West Ross Street where they found 19-year-old Ryan Anthony Price, of Wilkes-Barre, who police alleged was visibly intoxicated on Friday morning.
Price was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and underage drinking, police said.
Police said someone stole 41-year-old Daniel Howey’s bicycle from his yard at 64 Blackman St. on Tuesday.
Irvin Coolbaugh, 71, reported food was stolen at 50 N. Penn Ave. on Friday, police said.
Police said Leonard Pilch, 48, of Moyallen Street, alleged he was punched in the face by a suspect known to him at 391 N. Main St. around 2:45 p.m. Friday.
John Parni, of South Main Street, reported a suspect known to him took his 2005 Mazda without permission on East Northampton Street around 2 p.m. Friday, police said.
Police said 20-year-old Justin Burke, of North Sherman Street, allegedly struck a 20-year-old woman in the face at 289 Barney St. on Friday night. It was not immediately known if charges were filed against him.
Hope Remus, 37, of South Welles Street, was arrested Friday on a warrant for prostitution on South Main and Ross streets, police said.
PLAINS TWP. – Connie Ruckle, 33, of Wilkes-Barre was arrested by state police at 1 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of drunk driving.
State troopers stopped Ruckle on Route 309 in Plains Township as she drove a 1997 Mercury Tracer because she was driving erratically. Ruckle was transported to have a blood test to determine her blood alcohol level.
BUTLER TWP. – Township police reported the following:
A 49-year-old Drums woman reported on Monday several rings and jewelry were stolen from her Glendale Lane home, police said.
Police said a 30-year-old woman from Fawn Drive reported an unknown suspect sprayed silly string over vehicles in her driveway sometime early Monday morning.
Police investigated a two-vehicle crash that happened on South Old Turnpike Road, near Foothills Drive, around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday.
A 17-year-old Drums girl lost control of her vehicle while traveling west on the roadway and sideswiped a vehicle driven by William Keiser, 58, of St. Johns, according to police. The girl’s vehicle impacted a tree, police said.
Police said a male and female passenger in the girl’s car were injured, but obtained their own medical attention.
Police said Christopher Albertson, 28, of Beaver Meadows who was driving north on South Old Turnpike Road struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Drums man around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Yes, Caitlyn was arrested. the latest in the cases involving Ciavarella's actions We have him to thank for introducing her to criminal elements at camp adams 6 yrs ago, as that is how she got involved with these people. During our first dealing with this guy whom I will never refer to as your"Honor" what a joke!he said he makes his daughters keep their door open when they are are the phone so he can be sure they are on the up and up! Guess us taxpayers should have made him keep his door open. 1 more lawsuit coming up!
