Police Blotter

DORRANCE TWP. – A representative of Phillips Landscaping reported that a 1996 New Holland Skid Steer Loader was stolen sometime in February from its job site on Sandwedge Drive in Alberdeen Acres, according to state police

The Wapwallopen company also reported that various landscaping tools were stolen from the site, state police reported. The loader was inscribed with Phillips Landscaping, police noted.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 570-459-3890.

WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following incidents:

• A North Main Street resident reported around 9 p.m. on Monday that $400 in property was stolen from the residence.

• Regan Price, 30, of Wilkes-Barre was arrested and charged with public drunkenness around 8:45 p.m. on Monday on Academy Street.

• A Rees Street resident reported around 8 p.m. on Monday that neighborhood juveniles riding scooters struck the resident’s vehicle, causing unspecified damage.

• A Madison Street resident reported around 5 p.m. on Monday that a $250 lawn mower was stolen from her yard.

• A man reported around 4:45 p.m. on Monday that he was on South Main Street when he was attacked by unknown assailants, incurring facial injuries that required medical treatment.

• A complainant reported around 3:15 p.m. on Kidder Street on Monday that an unknown suspect took the complainant’s ATM card and used it for $200.37 in transactions without authorization.

• A Gardner Avenue woman reported around 12:30 p.m. on Monday that Daniel Yale, 22, of Wilkes-Barre, damaged a door at her residence.

• A complainant reported around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday that $100 in property was stolen from the complainant’s vehicle while parked on Public Square.
