WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:
Police said a man was arrested at police headquarters, 15 N. Washington St., on an indirect criminal contempt warrant at 4:14 a.m. Saturday.
Police arrested 34-year-old Lisa Satkowski, of Hanover Township, who was involved in a crash while allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol in the area of North River and West Market streets on Friday night.
David Phillips, 26, of Forty Fort, allegedly assaulted 41-year-old Michelle Peznowski, also of Forty Fort, in the area of North Franklin Street around 5:10 a.m. Saturday, police said.
John Stone, 57, of Shickshinny, was allegedly in possession of suspected cocaine and oxycodine in the area of Arch and Mclean streets on Saturday, police said. Police said Stone will be charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Police said someone stole Paul Couch’s gold 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra sedan – bearing Pennsylvania registration plate GWS2518 – while it was parked in the area of 500 Kidder St. on Saturday.
Someone removed a Pennsylvania registration plate, LCV30, from Richard Tokar’s 2003 Triumph motorcycle while it was parked at 338 Coal St. around 3 p.m. Saturday.
WILKES-BARRE – The state Bureau of Liquor Control, District Office No. 2, cited the following area establishments for alleged liquor law violations:
Munoz Corp., owner of Tacos Pancho Villa, 495 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, was cited with failure to require patrons to vacate the premises no later than one-half hour after the required time for the cessation of the service of alcoholic beverages on July 19.
The Mines Inc., of North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, was cited with a April 26 violation for selling, furnishing or giving alcoholic beverages to a visibly intoxicated patron.
Newtown Caf� Inc., of 724 Hazle St., Hanover Township, was cited with possessing or operating gambling devices or paraphernalia or permitted gambling or lotteries, pool selling and/or bookmaking on the licensed premises on July 15.
HANOVER TWP. – Township police investigated a theft from a vehicle that occurred in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot on Carey Avenue on Saturday night.
Michael Chwastyk reported around 6 p.m. that a man smashed out the rear passenger side window of his 1999 Jeep to get inside, police said. An XM Satellite radio unit and the wiring harness were removed from the Jeep.
The person fled toward Wilkes-Barre, police said. Officers later recovered the missing satellite system on the ground behind the Turkey Hill on Carey Avenue.
