WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following incidents:
An unknown suspect damaged 37-year-old John Rowlands’ fence with a vehicle at 216 Bradford St. around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Juan Jose O’Bando reported at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday that he was struck in the left side of the face and head in the area of North Main and East Maple streets. He was taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for treatment.
Shannon Belles, of Wilkes-Barre, reported on Tuesday that she was struck in the face by an unknown female on Dodson Lane, police said.
Someone removed checks from 699 N. Franklin St. on Tuesday.
Halloween decorations were reportedly stolen from 234 and 228 N. Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday.
Officers attempted to stop Francesco Leggio, 19, of Plains Township, for a traffic violation driving a 2002 Jeep on Tuesday. Leggio fled from police and was brought to a stop in the 200 block of South Franklin Street.
Leggio will be charged with fleeing and eluding police along with several traffic violations, police said.
An unknown person cut the spark plug wires on Edmund Sherry’s 1993 Dodge while it was parked on 5 N. Wilkes-Barre Boulevard on Tuesday.
A male reported at 12:41 p.m. Wednesday that an unknown person damaged his vehicle while it was parked on North Washington Street, police said. The cost of repair was estimated at $100.
Someone entered a woman’s Beekman Street home and stole property valued at $500 on Monday.
