ROSS TWP. – Police are continuing to investigate explosive devices that were found inside a Dobson Road home on Friday.
State police at Shickshinny said they were notified of possible explosives by a cleaning crew preparing a house for sale around 10:30 a.m. Troopers found four small homemade explosives at the unoccupied home, which is owned by Olympic Asset Management.
The state police hazardous device and explosive unit, along with the Scranton police bomb squad and an FBI bomb technician, responded to the scene and neutralized the devices.
Evacuations were not necessary because of the remote location, according to police, and at no time was the public in immediate danger. The investigating is ongoing, pending additional interviews, police said.
