KINGSTON – A man charged by police in connection with the assault of several officers claimed he had diplomatic immunity, according to arrest records filed on Friday.

Frances Xavier McMyne, 52, of Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000 bail.
