Just about anyone who has ever ridden a bike knows that pain of a flat tire.
Fixing a flat on the road just isn't much fun, especially if you have to use one of those small frame pumps to fill your fixed tube.
Those miniature pumps can really give you a workout.
But one inventive cyclist in Wilkes-Barre has found a solution.
I stumbled upon the bike pictured at right Tuesday afternoon when I ran to pick up my dinner at work. Seems a standard floor pump and a roll of masking tape and this bike rider is ready to go.
Of course, I don't think I would really want to ride a bike with this set up. And I don't know what you do once you cut through the tape to use the pump, but you have to give the owner of this bike credit for his inventiveness.
If you have seen any riders doing something … um unique like this, send grab a photo and email it to me. I use it in a future blog post.
