The students in the Early Childhood classes at the United Hebrew Institute recently visited Brace’s Orchard to learn all about apples. The students were treated to a tractor ride to the top of the orchard and along the way they sang songs about fall. Everyone learned the proper way to pick apples and had the opportunity to pick one. After learning how the orchard operates, the children and chaperones all got a taste of apple cider. The students were accompanied by their teachers, Jennifer Ripka and Jenny Rizel, and a class parent, Sandra Lehner-Osario. Participating students, from left, are Shalom Rizel, Lior Griver, Yehudis Seewald, Bayla Griver, Gianna Lehner and Kylie Kranson.
