Danielle Simonson and John Dane, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Adrianne Perks of Pittston and Robert Simonson of Morganton, North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of the late Frank and Mary Soska of Pittston, Dorothy Simonson of Lock Haven and the late Claude Simonson of Lock Haven.

The groom-to-be is the son of John and Linda Dane of Wilkes Barre. He is the grandson of Jean Worth of Wilkes Barre, the late Thomas Worth of Wilkes Barre and the late John and Rita Dane of Wilkes Barre.

Danielle is a 2002 graduate of Pittston Area High School and received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from King’s College in 2006. She is employed as a slot shift manager at Mohegan Sun Pocono.

John is a 2006 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He belongs to Laborers Union Local 130, and is currently employed by Panzitta Enterprises.

The couple was engaged in August 2015 in Disney World, and will exchange vows April 22, 2017 at A Touch of Class in Wilkes Barre.
