The following schedule of activities was announced by Matthew Collura,
Luzerne
    County maintenance manager of the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation,
   
for the week of June 7-11Shoulder cutting: St. Martha’s Road, Huntington
Township; Route 239, Huntington Township.; Harveyville Road, Huntington
Township.
   
Shoulder grading: Suscon Road, Pittston Township.
   
Inlet repair: Tomhicken Road, Sugarloaf Township.
   
Drainage/ditching: Laurel Run Road, Bear Creek Township; Northwest High
School Road, Huntington Township.; Route 11, Salem Township.
   
Bridge cleaning: Route 309 Cross Valley Expressway, Luzerne; Route 80,
Sugarloaf Township.
   
Bridge inspection: Pierce Street Bridge, Wilkes-Barre; Fort Jenkins Bridge,
PIttston, Route 309 Cross Valley Expressway, Wilkes-Barre.
   
Mowing: Route 309 Cross Valley Expressway, Luzerne, Eckley Road, Foster
Township, Highland Road, Jeddo; Route 940, White Haven to Hazleton, Foster and
Hazle townships.
   
Pipe replacement and repair: Thornhurst Road, Buck Township.
   
Pothole patching: River Road, Hollenback Township.; Route 81, Hazle and
Butler townships.
   
Sweeping: Carvertown Road, Trucksville.
   
Contract roadway crack sealing: Scott Street, Wilkes-Barre; Old Boston
Road, and Thompson Street, Jenkins Township.; Yatesville Road, Yatesville;
Nuangola Road, Rice Township; Route 93, Nescopeck Township.; Wyoming Avenue,
Kingston and Forty Fort.
