LEHMAN TWP. — Penn State University Wilkes-Barre has been awarded $112,778
in grants by the Education Foundation of the Society of Manufacturing
Engineers.
   
The grant is part of $587,403 in cash and nearly $15.5 million in equipment
and software grants that were awarded to 127 universities and technical
institutions by the society’s foundation.
    The Dearborn, Mich.-based foundation was created in 1979 to foster and
promote manufacturing engineering curricula in colleges and universities.
