High court denies Lokuta pay and benefits

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court denied the request of former Luzerne County Judge Ann Lokuta to reinstate her pay and benefits.

The high court also refused her request for extraordinary relief to review her removal from the bench in Decemeber 2008 by the state Court of Judicial Discipline. The high court said the Court of Judicial Discipline is still considering her claims based on evidence arising out of the recent revelations of corruption in Luzerne County.
