Kulick gets 37 months

SCRANTON - A well known area businessman responsible for revealing alleged meetings between former judge Michael Conahan and a reputed mobster was sentenced this morning to 37 months in prison on gun charges.

Robert Kulick, 61, of Bear Creek Township, was sentenced on a charge of illegally possessing a firearm.

Kulick pleaded guilty last year to illegally possessing six firearms found at his home. He was prohibited from having guns due to a prior conviction on federal tax charges.
