Reassessment topic of WVIA program

WVIA-TV’s “State of Pennsylvania” will focus on Luzerne County’s property reassessment 7 p.m. Thursday.

The reassessment has affected 158,701 county properties with more than 15,000 appeals filed so far.

WVIA’s Suzanne Kelly will host the live show and guests will include Luzerne County Commissioner Greg Skrepenak, 21st Century Appraisals chief technology officer Tim Barr and Michael Johnson, executive vice president of Lewith and Freeman Real Estate Inc.

Luzerne County Commissioners Maryanne Petrilla and Steve Urban have also been invited to appear on the show.
