Force training session
   
Parents concerned with the proper education for their children are
encouraged to attend a free training session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6,

Luzerne Intermediate Unit 368 Tioga Ave., Kingston. The training session
will be conducted by the staff of the Pennsylvania State Department of

Assoc. to meet
   
The Nanticoke Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m.
on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the First Methodist Church Nanticoke.
   
Homebrewers Club will meet Monday
   
The Wyoming Valley Homebrewers Club will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 4 at Sabatini’s Pizza, Wyoming Ave in Exeter. There will be a
critique of the recent participation of the club in the Brewfest and tasting
session at Montage. There will also be a recipe exchange and a question answer
period. Those intrested in the organization are encouraged to attend. For more

LCCC and King’s sponsor program
   
Representatives from LCCC and the King’s College McGowan School of Business
will be available at 7:30 Monday, Nov. 4, at LCCC Educational Conference
Center to answer questions about the Non-profit Management Partnership
Program.
   
The program leads to a bachelor of science degree in Business
Administration and a non-profit management certificate. For more information,

Harter High Alumnae Association will hold its annual Christmas party

Rotary will host dinner Monday
   
The Rotary Club of Plains is hosting its Annual Turkey Dinner between 5 and
8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at Charlie Brown’s Restaurant, South River Street,
Plains. Takeouts will be available at 4 p.m. Tickets are $6 each and are
available from any Plains Rotarian. District Magistrate Dianna Malast,
president; has appointed Rotarians Roland Biscontini and Debbie Ludden as
chairs for the dinner.
   
Proceeds will be used to fund community projects.

Board to meet
   
Plains Township Parks and Recreation Board will meet at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov.
4 at the Hilldale Park Clubhouse, North Main Street, Plains Township.

Members of the Bishop Hoban High School class of 1982 will meet to organize
plans of its 15th year reunion. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m.

St. Leo’s High School class of 1946 recently held its 50th class reunion on
