Charles F. Miller, 94, of High Street, Valley View Terrace in Wilkes-Barre,
died Sunday at Hospice Community Care Unit at Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre.
   
Born in Plymouth, he was a son of the late Charles F. Miller Sr. and the
late Daisy Viola Thompson.
    Mr. Miller had resided on High Street in Wilkes-Barre for the past 24
years. He previously resided in Kingston and earlier in Forty Fort. Prior to
his retirement in 1971, he was employed as a television repairman for the
former Stull Brothers in Kingston for 42 years.
   
Mr. Miller was a member of Wyoming Avenue Christian Church in Kingston,
where he was a former Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was an avid golfer.
   
Preceding him in death are his wife, Mary Jane Lutz; brother, James Miller;
sisters, Loretta Rundle and Elsie Sherman.
   
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Joan Namey, Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren,
David C. Namey, Michael A. Namey and Joan Hine, all of Wilkes-Barre; 2
great-grandchildren, Allyson Hine and David Charles Namey.
   
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday from the Hugh B. Hughes &
Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with his pastor, the
Rev. William Fudge, officiating. The interment will be in the El-Husan Syrian
American Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. on Tuesday.
