Josephine Rotondaro

osephine M. Rotondaro, of North Main Street, Pittston, died Tuesday at the
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Carmen and Philomena
(Bucci) Nardone. She was a 1943 graduate of GAR High School. She worked in the
garment industry. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,
Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred James; brother, Vincent;
and infant sister, Ann.
Surviving are her daughters, Mary Frances Grabowski and Ann Marie Golden,
both of West Pittston; and Judith White, Forty Fort; nine grandchildren;
brothers, Lucas and Thomas Nardone, both of Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Theresa
Pizzella and Eugenia Costantino, both of Wilkes-Barre; and Delores De’Lia,
Pittston; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Adonizio Funeral Home, Inc.,
251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston
Township. The viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
