Wyoming Seminary’s Alexis Quick was named the Wyoming Valley Conference girls lacrosse MVP.

Quick was joined on the first team by teammates Atalia Dressler, Emily Gabriel, Kelley Gavin and Katie Romanowski. The Blue Knights won their fifth straight District 2 title and finished 11-0 in districts, outscoring their opponents 192-61.

Coughlin’s Colleen Wood was named Coach of the Year. The Crusaders finished 11-2 during the regular season and lost to Seminary, 11-9, in the District 2 finals. Coughlin’s Hailee Dumont and Brigid Wood were named to the first team.

Crestwood’s Daniella Callagan and Lizzie Dessoye; Lake-Lehman’s Alysa Adams, Makenzie Borum and Mallory Wilson; Pittston Area’s Haley Norwillo; Dallas’ Katie Snedeker and Wyoming Area’s Jordan Kelly were each named to the first team.
