I’m writing about the beautiful Villa Roma Pizza complex that the Harveys Lake Borough is interested in acquiring.
This building, which the borough made an offer to acquire, is situated on the most prime real estate at Harveys Lake – smack at the entrance to the lake community. Any real estate professional will attest that location, location, location rules.
Secondly, this is a very large, solid building. I know that the owner put only the best into this commercial building. The doors themselves were custom made by hand. Each beveled glass pane was handmade. The bar was also handmade from the finest oak by a master cabinetmaker.
Paying $399,000 for that building – heck, for only the location itself – is a bargain for the borough. I sure hope the borough officials see clearly or they’ll be kicking themselves at a later point.
